Sophie Grace Muecke (b. 2018) is a multi-award-winning young violinist and soprano based in London. She began the violin at the age of four and studies at the Rachmaninoff Music Academy with Khac-Uyen Nguyen and Dominika Rosiek, and works with Simon Fischer, Professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. She has worked with Liana Tretiakova in masterclasses at the Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zürich, and has taken part in further masterclasses with Madeleine Mitchell, Steven Wilkie and Francisco Caban-Vales, as well as at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg. She studies voice with Anna Gorbachyova-Ogilvie at the Rachmaninoff Music Academy.
In August 2026 she won First Prize at the Zakhar Bron School of Music masterclass competition, making her debut with ensemble at the Kirche St. Peter in Zürich in the prizewinners’ concert. She plays with the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain, which she joined as its youngest member. In September 2026 she made her debut as soloist with orchestra with the Camerata Tchaikovsky under Yuri Zhislin at St John’s Church in London. Her stage experience also includes the Royal Opera House’s production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
Sophie has received numerous awards in both violin and voice. As a violinist, her distinctions include four consecutive Age Group First Prizes at the New Talent Festival at the Royal Academy of Music (2023–2026), a Gold Award at the Singapore International Music Competition, a Platinum Award at London Young Musician, and an Age Group First Prize at the Vienna International Arts Festival, alongside numerous first prizes at the Blackheath and North London Music Festivals. As a soprano, she has won the New Talent Festival’s Age Group First Prize in the Voice Category for two consecutive years. In 2026 she also won First Prizes at Jugend musiziert, Germany’s national youth music competition, in both chamber music (violin and cello duo) and voice.

Alongside the violin, Sophie is an accomplished young soprano. She studies voice with Anna Gorbachyova-Ogilvie at the Rachmaninoff Music Academy in London, and appeared as the youngest cast member in the Royal Opera House’s production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
She has won the Age Group First Prize in the Voice Category at the New Talent Festival at the Royal Academy of Music for two consecutive years, alongside a First Prize in voice at Jugend musiziert 2026 and first prizes at London festivals.
